My Name is Charlie, and I am a quiet boy, and unlike many meezers you may know, I am afraid to go outside.

There is a reason for this apparent lack of backbone on my part, you see I am afraid of the outside because of something that happened to me a few years back, something truly terrifying, something that would drain the color from even the bravest Meezers points....

.....while my human was in the attic with some friends looking at old pics of me because i am just sooooooo cute but anyways while they were up theire i slipped out a broken window in the basement.......

When i got outside, i noticed how nice it smelled. While i was sniffing around, i noticed a big shadow. The shadow turned out to be a very large dog. He was really friendly to me. He said to me, "Beware of the wild animals in the woods.

So I was about to go home, whencuriosity got the better of me. I walked towards the woods. It was a sunny day but it got darker when I actually walked into the woods. The air was so cool and the wind rustled my fur as I continued to explore the woods. All of a sudden, a bear rushed towards me and he grabbed me. I don't ever remember being shaken like that before this happened. I twisted and scratched the bear and got away. I ran out of the woods so fast I got dizzy. I becalme disoriented not knowing which way to run. Quickly the woods ended and I was in the sunshine again. I saw the house and my human was at the stairs looking for me. I jumped into her arms ans shivered. She pet me and then I began to purr. I vowed to never leave the house again.

I will never make the mistake to do that again. I still have flashbacks of it, and they scare me out of my wits!

I am now a very old cat. But everyone thinks I am very wise. Occasionaly a new cat will come into the area. I will always tell them my frightening tale. The moral? "Listen to dogs occasionaly, for sometimes they have good advice."
